I created my first business 10 years ago called Drapeworks, a pipe and drape business.

With commitment, zeal (and a lot of blood, sweat and tears) AND God’s favor, I was eventually given the opportunity to work with big name clients like Nike, Miami Dolphins, Univision, Viacom among top wedding planners and event companies in the nation.
For years, my business, team and inventory have grown substantially year by year.

I’m very transparent. I knew nothing about event draping. One of my good friends at the time worked for the biggest event draping company in the nation. He shared with me many insights about the draping world that at the time I didn’t even know existed. I thought, with his experience and my networking skills it was a no brainer we could disrupt the draping industry. WRONG! After a small stint working together we got barely any sales and decided to go our separate ways. Then with a $4,000 loan from my aunt and uncle I was able to re-start and grow my event draping business the RIGHT WAY! I experimented with getting sales without advertising and It worked! I scaled very fast which was a good thing and learned alot in the process. I focused on our brand and online presence. I hired key managers to help me grow my team and sales. My hustle and drive paid off to the point where my team handled our events while I focused on the vision of our business. Now my mission is to help thousands of event companies and event professionals build their event draping team in their city.
